About me

My career as an Animator started shortly after graduating Vancouver Film School in 2000 (Computer Animation and VFX program, Class 20). If you check out the resume page you will see the long list of projects I've worked on. After High School, I spent two years working as a Carpenters Apprentice. In High School I had made a couple of stop-motion shorts, and I had an interest in the visual arts but never realized that I could have made something out of my "hobbies". I some what enjoyed working as a Carpenter, but after a friend introduced me to 3D animation, I was hooked. I started Drawing more, took a bunch of Night classes, built a portfolio, and then was accepted into to the full time program at VFS. I've got to thank my Teachers and Class mates who realy inspired me to do best at school (here's my student film).

Outside of animation I have many interests that keep my life in balance. Travel is my biggest passion. I want to see one hundred countries before I die and I'm about a quarter of the way there now. Motorcycling and Scuba diving are another two big ones for me, mainly because both sports let me see new places and take me well away from a computer.

I hope you enjoy seeing my work, and please feel free to send me any comments or questions.

Thanks,

Jeremy
